Michelle works diligently to help her insurance, charter schools, and not-for-profit clients achieve financial success through innovative ideas, active planning, and deep industry knowledge. Known for her hands-on, timely service, she takes a practical approach to business—even in the most complicated scenarios—focusing on growing her clients’ organizations and monitoring industry happenings. Michelle gives her clients personal attention and responsiveness, guaranteeing they feel listened to, informed, and valued.
Michelle’s clients provide a wide array of insurance products, including health, property, casualty, workers’ compensation, surety, risk pools, and third-party administration. She is instrumental in ensuring they’re in compliance with regulatory requirements, and her clients appreciate her attention to new trends, emerging issues, and technical matters. Michelle also works with many charter school academies, providing valuable counsel to board members regarding the ever-changing education landscape and compliance with laws and regulations. Most recently she’s been focusing on issues around enterprise risk management and the importance of succession planning to the growth and stability of her clients' organizations.
Michelle is actively engaged in a variety of industry associations and currently serves as the president of the Michigan chapter of the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association (IASA). Michelle is often asked to speak at industry conferences on current topics of interest, including recent regulatory changes and accounting updates. Michelle has a B.S. in business administration, with a major in accounting, from Central Michigan University (magna cum laude).
