As Plante Moran’s Ohio regional manufacturing and distribution practice leader, I specialize in advising clients on industry trends and best practices. This allows them to prioritize their allocation of resources and adapt to industry change. While most of my manufacturing clients are owned by foreign companies, I also work with many local privately owned and family-owned manufacturing companies with international activity.
My clients appreciate that I bring creative ideas that save real dollars and am genuinely interested in their business as well as their personal success. My colleagues appreciate my passion and my ability to liven up the atmosphere. I believe in having fun while getting the work done.
In the 30-plus years I’ve been with Plante Moran, I’ve made many meaningful contributions to our manufacturing and financial institutions groups. I’ve helped coach and develop several people to partner and many others to successful careers outside public accounting. This career has afforded me the opportunity to know and learn from many diverse, smart, and creative individuals.
I’m often asked to speak to clients, their boards, or at industry conferences about topics related to current accounting and tax changes, manufacturing industry developments, and international business developments and opportunities. I’ve also been asked to share my career story as an example for women developing their careers in either public accounting or the manufacturing sector.
I received my B.A. in accounting from Walsh College. I belong to the AICPA, the MICPA, the Ohio CPA Society, the Women's Fund of Central Ohio, and I’m the Chair of Greater Columbus Sister Cities.
