Kristin is an attorney Trust Officer with Plant Moran Trust. She specializes in the administration of personal trusts, estates, family offices, and irrevocable life insurance trusts. Before joining Plante Moran Trust, Kristin was a practicing probate attorney practicing in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, guardianships, conservatorships, family law, and probate litigation. Preceding private practice, Kristin was the Judicial Law Clerk for an Oakland County Michigan Probate Court Judge where she reviewed and made recommendations to the Judge of matters before the Court.

Kristin specializes in working on the settlement of probate estates and estate-like trusts, including the divestment of closely held business interests, real estate, and other limited market assets. Additionally, she works with families who have elder and special needs concerns to develop a long-term plan for care and financial management of assets. She also helps with the understanding, funding, and implementation of sohpisticated trust arrangements, both charitable and family-oriented. 

Kristin received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University and earned her Juris Doctorate from University of Detroit Mercy Law School.  She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Oakland County Bar Association and the Financial and Estate Planning Council of Metro Detroit.
