As Plante Moran’s first inclusion and diversity leader, I’m responsible for developing the firm’s inclusion and diversity strategies, providing insight to market trends, establishing partnerships to recruit and increase our pipeline of diverse staff, and conducting analysis to evaluate the success of current and future diversity programs.
Prior to joining Plante Moran, I worked in management consulting for over eight years, supporting clients by leading strategy, change management, and training initiatives to guide technology and compliance implementations, along with developing financial and health monitoring and evaluation proposal assessments in emerging markets. I also led a key national diversity recruiting partnership and developed programs to retain staff hired through the partnership. Additionally, I supported internal initiatives to increase diversity recruitment for consulting, advisory, and audit practices.
My experience before management consulting includes financial services and commercial banking, managing investment portfolios for corporate mergers and acquisitions, building strategic plans and business strategies to increase clients’ cash flow opportunities, and creating business process policies for internal finance teams.
I’m passionate and committed to supporting diverse populations, which has taken various forms throughout my journey. My proudest has been creating a nonprofit in Houston that provided stipends to underrepresented young women involved in the arts and matriculating to college, along with being heavily involved in health outreach programs. To sum it all up, my career has been dedicated to helping organizations become better global citizens through client and staff engagement and development.
Originally from Chicago, I hold an M.B.A. in finance and strategy from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business and a B.B.A. in finance from Texas A&M University.
