Jeff Buck
Vice President

As a vice president at Plante Moran Realpoint, Jeff brings over 20 years of real estate investment and development experience to the firm. His work spans real estate market research, highest-and-best-use analysis, financial feasibility analysis, due diligence, and strategic development for redevelopment projects, new construction, public-private partnerships, and municipalities.

Jeff is recognized for his ability to transform community assets and repurpose them to meet contemporary needs. He takes pride in projects that make a tangible impact on communities, particularly those serving the aging population and mixed-use projects that revitalize or transform areas. His achievements in facilitating transformative projects include redeveloping an early-1900s building in downtown Pittsburgh into new student housing, converting a portion of a former northern Michigan psychiatric hospital from the 1890s into senior housing, and transforming a 1980s suburban office building into multi-family units. Additionally, Jeff has participated in numerous senior living projects throughout Michigan, offering innovative options to communities in need.

Prior to joining Plante Moran Realpoint, Jeff worked at Cypress Partners in Birmingham, Mich., where he took on various roles within a small real estate development company. He earned his B.A. in journalism from Wayne State University and completed a semester abroad at Salford University in Salford, England. He is also a trustee for the Thompson Schools Foundation, demonstrating his commitment to community involvement.
