While I lead the public sector consulting practice, much of my work is with school districts and higher education institutions. I have expertise in facilitation, project management, operations assessments and reviews, technology planning, technology design, and management information system selection and implementation. My team includes infrastructure engineers who work across all industries.
My clients appreciate my level of expertise in this field. With more than 20 years of experience in the education sector — blending technology and operations — I’ve helped clients manage more than $150 million in enterprise-wide technology implementations.
As a strong supporter of women across the firm, I oversee Plante Moran’s Women in Leadership (WIL) initiative. In this role, I help to provide resources that foster a culture where we can attract, retain, develop, and promote female leaders.
I’m a frequent presenter at various industry organization conferences. Recent topics included cloud computing and cybersecurity best practices for the K-12 market. I belong to several professional organizations including School Business Officials Associations in multiple states. I hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Wayne State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.
I spend a lot of time with my two children and all of their activities. They’re into soccer, hockey, and music, and I volunteer to help with the various activities. When I find time to bike on my own, I can go up to 16 miles a day. After a long ride, I love cooking.
