Brad is the lead technical specialist for Plante Moran's manufacturing and distribution practice. His job is to monitor emerging accounting issues in the manufacturing and distribution segments. His proactive approach is designed to avoid any surprises in complying with new standards by ensuring that Plante Moran partners, staff, and clients have ample time to analyze the effects of any new pronouncements and understand any options in time to affect their desired outcomes. He’s known for this practical application of complex accounting and assurance pronouncements.

Brad has 28 years of experience providing services to the manufacturing and distribution industries. His primary focus has been on maintaining firsthand knowledge of developments in the profession and providing clients and staff with interpretations and explanatory material on new professional pronouncements.

Brad has spoken to clients and at professional education conferences such as the MACPA CPE sessions on current developments in accounting and assurance. Brad has a B.A. in accounting from Purdue University and was an Elijah Watt Sells recipient (which means he scored in the top 1 percent on his CPA exam).
