Brian’s professional experience spans more than 16 years and includes many different aspects of real estate appraisal, consulting, and sales throughout the United States and internationally. He has rendered opinions of value in consultation and appraisal for individuals, attorneys, corporations, builders, real estate brokers, banks, mortgage companies, credit unions, relocation companies, and agencies of local, state, and federal governments of many types of real property, including single and multiple family residential, condominiums, commercial/industrial, senior care facilities, historic buildings, hospitality/resorts, and vacant land.
Brian has experience with many types of properties and assignments, including difficult stigmatized and distressed properties, specifically historic and architecturally significant buildings. He has been involved in the contracting of federal and state government work, with a focus on Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions (Yellow Book). Brian has performed reviews and valuation assignments all over the country on a variety of different property types and easement rights.
Brian has a B.S. in economics from Oakland University. He is licensed as a real estate broker in Michigan and is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in California, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
