I provide assurance, advisory, and technical accounting and financial reporting services to privately held, private equity-backed, and publicly traded organizations. I serve as the assurance technical leader for the firm’s energy industry group and am a member of the firm’s professional standards team.
What attracted me to this career was the ability to blend order and structure with flexibility and judgement. I enjoy the challenges created by the ever-changing accounting literature and its application to new and evolving business operations and technologies.
Because of my energy industry expertise, I often speak to industry groups about the accounting and financial reporting impacts of current events and the accounting impacts of recent accounting pronouncements.
I belong to the AICPA and the Denver Petroleum Club. In the community, I am a member of the Accounting Advisory Committee at the University of Colorado Denver and serve as a mentor to accounting students at the University of Colorado Denver. I received my B.S. and M.S. in business administration at the University of Colorado Boulder.
