I’m a true outdoors person. My husband and I are working on our farm — including mowing, running the tractor, remodeling our small cabin, and working to build a new home on the property very soon.

Experience

As a leader in our enterprise resource planning (ERP) practice, I specialize in state governments and large, complex ERP implementations. The majority of my client base comprises state government agencies, including transportation, large cities and counties, airports, and transit organizations that are interested in acquiring or implementing an ERP system, assessing their current IT organization, or conducting IT and security assessments.

My clients appreciate that I’ve been on their side of the table as an employee, and I understand the processes unique to government. They know I can define new processes using a lean approach, and I can provide a deep understanding of grants and project accounting in other business areas. I can also assist with the development of a chart of accounts that can be integrated across all modules of an ERP. They appreciate that I understand the financial implications of new processes and systems.

I’ve been in this industry for almost three decades. Each client and problem has made me a stronger consultant. It’s never boring — and I continue to learn each year.

I’m honored to have received special acknowledgements from three state governments for my management of their ERP implementation: Iowa, Missouri, and California’s department of social services. I received my B.A. in accounting and computer science from Eastern Washington University and my M.B.A. at William Woods University in Missouri.

I belong to the National Association of State Auditors, Comptrollers and Treasurers. I’m also certified in Change Management, Agile, a Lean expert and a Six Sigma Black Belt.

When I’m not working to make organizations stronger, I enjoy a variety of hobbies. I love to cook, garden, and spend time with my family.
