I specialize in advising clients on industry matters, trends, and ideas to help them grow their businesses. As a member of our private equity leadership team, I assist strategic buyers, private equity firms, and family offices with buy-side and sell-side due diligence. I primarily serve manufacturing and consumer product companies in the middle-market sector that are family-owned, private equity-owned, and foreign-owned.
My clients appreciate my independent and thoughtful perspectives on their businesses, bringing the right resources to help them with various transactions, structure, and planning matters. All my clients know if I don't have an answer for them, I’ll find someone within Plante Moran who does.
I joined Plante Moran after 15 years with a Big Four firm. My greatest contribution to our firm has been working with our private equity team to achieve double-digit growth since I’ve been here.
I’ve spoken in the past for the MICPA industry conference on subjects such as international financial reporting standards and new accounting pronouncements. I’m a member of the AICPA and the MICPA. Actively engaged in my community, I serve in leadership positions with the Grand Rapids Children's Museum, the Baxter Community Center, and the Grand Valley State University Accounting Alumni Board, as well as volunteer with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. I received my B.B.A. in accounting from Grand Valley State University. In 2007, I received the “40 under 40” West Michigan Business Award.
When I’m away from the office, I enjoy golfing, water skiing, snow skiing, jogging, and traveling.
