I’m an avid basketball fan. I still play a few times a week when my schedule allows, and I enjoy attending Chicago Bulls games.

As the leader of the firm’s strategy and operations practice in the Chicago office, I help good companies get better. I do this by helping them identify new markets, strengthen what they do well, and explore ways to improve.

Most of my clients are middle-market companies in the manufacturing, automotive, food and beverage, and medical device industries.

Today’s business leaders face many challenges — new kinds of competition, increasingly complex technology, and a customer base that’s more demanding than ever. This means they have to take a close look at their long-term strategies as well as the day-to-day processes they use to make decisions. I help clients do both, and they know I’m committed to their success. They appreciate the fact that I really listen to what they have to say.

Around the office, colleagues know me for my willingness to help. I love to help clients solve the problems they face. The challenge is different every day.

When I’m not in the office, I keep busy with my wife and our two teenage daughters. I like to ride my bike around the city and attend neighborhood festivals in the summer.

I’m often asked to speak to associations and lead webinars on business strategy topics such as operational due diligence and succession planning. I studied chemistry at Knox College and received an M.B.A. from Governors State University.
