With more than 30 years at Plante Moran, I’ve been involved in a range of initiatives. I’m a member of the firm’s private equity practice leadership team, and regularly work with private equity funds and their portfolio companies. I’ve spearheaded the development and growth of our FVS fair value consulting services. I was a co-founding partner and managing director of P&M Corporate Finance.
One activity that brings me a lot of satisfaction is my role in mentoring several partners and current and future leaders of the firm. I’m happy that my colleagues recognize me as someone who’s always accessible and provides a high-energy work environment in which to develop.
I belong to the AICPA, the Michigan Association of CPAs,, the Association for Corporate Growth, and the Financial Executives Institute, where I sit on the Advisory Board of the Detroit Chapter. I also provide support to two local charities, Detroit Goodfellows and Racquet Up Detroit. I received my B.A. in economics from the University of Michigan.
When my kids were younger, I devoted a lot of time to coaching and volunteering with their schools and sports teams. Now that they’re older, I spend more time at our lake house in northern Michigan and I play more tennis and squash.
