Carla is a partner with the firm’s international tax practice, where she helps internationally active businesses and individuals as they navigate complex rules and reporting. She’s known for her technical expertise in international tax planning and compliance matters with a focus on practical solutions to complex problems. Her practice includes experience with inbound and outbound internationally active business, individuals, trusts, and estates.

Most recently, Carla has advised clients on international structuring matters to minimize tax costs and complexity. She’s been a speaker on international tax topics for Plante Moran, Praxity, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the State Bar of Michigan. Carla has a bachelor of business administration degree with a major in accounting from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
