As a senior healthcare planner and project manager, Joe focuses on providing strategic project planning and project oversight to clients in the healthcare industry. His extensive healthcare experience enables him to identify and address potential project challenges in the initial conceptual phase of a project, streamlining project implementation.
Joe has more than 35 years of architectural experience, and the last 27 years have been dedicated to healthcare projects. He has developed a thorough understanding of the project formation and delivery processes and the technical and regulatory requirements that dictate every phase. Joe’s relentless dedication to the success of projects is achieved by meeting the clients’ functional needs in addition to their schedule and budget requirements.
Having worked previously with national architectural firms and now Plante Moran Cresa, Joe has completed numerous projects for healthcare clients at more than 50 campuses throughout the country. These have ranged from 350-bed hospital facilities to small, specialized renovations or expansions to help facilities add new service capacity.
Joe received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture from the University of Michigan. He is a registered architect in Michigan and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE), and the Michigan Rural Health Association.
