Kristen is the Ann Arbor practice leader for the manufacturing and not-for-profit sectors. She specializes in advising business owners and executives on current industry trends, financial benchmarks, and best practices with practical advice for business sustainability and long-term growth. 

Within the firm’s manufacturing practice, Kristen has served a variety of enterprises for more than 25 years, including owner-managed businesses and internationally-active companies. Most recently, she advised clients on the financial and tax outcomes from merger and acquisition opportunities. Additionally, she is one of the firm's assurance partners with IFRS reporting experience. 

Kristen’s not-for-profit experience focuses on serving private education organizations and related foundations.  Most recently, Kristen has been advising not-for-profit clients regarding benchmarking and understanding the nuances of outside agency ratings to develop internal best practices and better position themselves in the market for charitable gifts.

Kristen is also a leader internally, where she serves on the Assurance Training Board and is significantly involved in developing the firm’s young staff, often personally presenting technical topics.  She has been recognized with the community with a Women of Distinction Award from the Girl Scout’s Huron Valley Council. Kristen has a B.B.A. from The University of Michigan Ross Business School.
