Nora is a Plante Moran tax partner known for providing excellent client service and keeping her clients up to date on current tax developments. With more than 30 years of experience, she specializes in advising small-to-medium-sized businesses and their owners in a variety of industries, including real estate, hospitality, and manufacturing and distribution. She also provides counsel to high net worth individuals and has done extensive work related to the buying and selling of businesses.
In addition to her client responsibilities, she is frequently sought after internally for her deep tax expertise and regularly assists other members of the tax department with research on complex issues. Areas of focus include trusts, S corporations, partnerships, section 1031 like-kind exchanges, and structuring acquisitions and dispositions of closely-held businesses.
A frequent contributing author to The Tax Advisor, Nora is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago and holds an M.S. in taxation from DePaul University.
