I coached my older daughter's soccer teams for seven years and enjoyed watching her and her teammates develop their soccer skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and friendships over the years.

Experience

As the firm's SEC services leader, I specialize in advising both public and private clients on accounting and financial reporting matters, internal control best practices, and SEC financial reporting regulations. I serve a diversified client base of manufacturers and distributors in the capital equipment, life sciences, consumer products, metals, and auto supplier sectors as well as clients in the technology, professional services, and environmental services, and waste management sectors.

In the more than 15 years I’ve been with Plante Moran, I’ve played an instrumental role in helping many clients grow their business and others successfully sell their business. My clients know that I do everything I can to position them for success. I also enjoyed my experience as a key member of the Plante Moran team that served as the Accountant to the Examiner of Enron.

I belong to the AICPA and the MICPA, where I’m a former chair of the Manufacturing Task Force. I participate on the Rainbow Connection board of directors and finance committee, the Great Oaks Country Club board of directors, and the St. Irenaeus Church Parish Council.

I received the Elijah Watt Sells Award, given annually by the AICPA to those who receive the highest scores on the CPA exam. I have a B.S. in business from Miami University.

I spend time hanging out with my family, and I like to read outside of work. I also enjoy golfing, running, and watching baseball, football, and basketball.
