Plante Moran Real Estate Investment Advisors announces promotions

Plante Moran REIA, an affiliate of accounting and business advisory firm Plante Moran that specializes in investment real estate consulting, is pleased to announce the promotions of Joe Perez, Doug Smith, Nick Gurica, and Jake Austermann.

Plante Moran Real Estate Investment Advisors (REIA), an affiliate of accounting and business advisory firm Plante Moran that specializes in investment real estate consulting, is pleased to announce the promotions of Joe Perez, Doug Smith, Nick Gurica, and Jake Austermann.

Joe Perez, Senior Vice President

Joe, who works out of the firm's Chicago office, has been promoted to senior vice president. Joe will continue to provide clients with expert guidance regarding property valuation, risk analysis, capital allocation strategy, asset value maximization, hold/sell analysis, and leasing decisions to get the best return for their investments. Joe joined the firm in 2016, when new opportunities and increased client demand spurred Plante Moran REIA to expand its presence in the Chicago area. Learn more about Joe in his bio.

Doug Smith, Senior Vice President

Doug will also be celebrating a promotion to senior vice president. Doug, who works out of the Southfield office, joined the firm in 2016. He has and continues to support a broad range of clientele, including private, corporate, governmental, and religious entities, in a consultative capacity advising on real estate planning, investment, management, and development. Nick Gurica, Vice President

Nick has been promoted to vice president. He works out of the Southfield office. Nick joined Plante Moran REIA in 2015 from the Plante Moran’s audit team, and he consults clients throughout the various stages of the real estate investment cycle, including development feasibility, capital markets, portfolio valuation and strategy, management, and dispositions.
