As a vice president with Plante Moran Real Estate Investment Advisors (REIA), Nick specializes in asset management, capital markets strategies and real estate consulting across the various stages of the investment life cycle.
Known for his highly analytical and forward-thinking approach, Nick possesses the ability to assess situations with multiple variables and high complexity to meet his clients’ real estate investment goals. His experience includes debt procurement, sale/leaseback and other alternative financing methods, credit-tenant lease structures, and investment/portfolio strategies.
Nick has sourced capital across various lender types and has successfully negotiated and closed hundreds of millions of dollars in loans. He also oversaw several large consulting projects that included the analysis and/or disposition of real estate assets worth over a billion dollars. Nick plays a key role in the oversight of Plante Moran REIA’s asset management function, providing analysis and strategy of client portfolios.
Prior to joining Plante Moran REIA, Nick was an audit and tax associate with Plante Moran specializing in the real estate and local municipal industries. With an accounting background, Nick developed expertise in financial reporting and analysis, partnership and individual taxation, and investment structure and strategy.
Nick is a graduate of Hillsdale College, where he earned a BS in accounting. Nick is a certified public accountant (CPA) in the state of Michigan.
