Please join us in congratulating Tori Manix, senior vice president of Plante Moran Realpoint (PMR), formerly Plante Moran REIA, for receiving the 2020 Tropaia Award from Georgetown University.
Awarded annually to a graduate of the Master of Professional Studies in Real Estate program, these individuals embody the prestigious university’s values through their impressive academic performance, character, commitment to their industries, and extraordinary contributions to their communities. Tori’s thesis— a proposal for a mixed-use development on the previous Joe Louis Arena site in Detroit, Mich. — was a contributing factor in her nomination by program directors and professors.
“It’s an honor to be recognized by Georgetown for this award,” said Tori. “While working full-time during this program was difficult, I am lucky to have had the support of Plante Moran and my colleagues over the past two years of the program.”
Tori’s contributions to the real estate industry are inherent in the dedication, hard work, and impressive accomplishments that led her to be the youngest vice president in the firm’s history and land a spot on Crain’s list of Twenty in Their 20s, a prestigious group of young professionals making a difference in Detroit.
