Plante Moran Realpoint is pleased to announce that Nick Posavetz has been appointed vice president of the Michigan Economic Developers Association (MEDA) board of directors.
MEDA is a statewide membership organization of more than 500 members from the public and private sectors dedicated to fostering sustainable economic growth and prosperity by empowering economic developers with the knowledge, advocacy, resources, and collaborative opportunities needed to drive positive change in Michigan’s communities.
Nick, vice president at commercial real estate consulting firm Plante Moran Realpoint (PMR), has been actively involved with the MEDA for more than a decade and was first elected to the board of directors beginning in 2021. His leadership reflects both his long-standing commitment to the organization and PMR’s deep support for regional and statewide economic development efforts.
“This is an inflection point for economic development in Michigan. As Michigan’s communities and businesses come together to form our state’s economic development strategy, I look forward to working with the MEDA team, board, and statewide membership to inspire the next generation of leaders and strengthen the association’s impact,” said Nick.
