Andy Fountain recognized as a Crain’s Detroit Notable Leader in Architecture, Engineering & Construction

Each year, Crain’s Detroit Business celebrates the professionals driving Southeast Michigan’s most demanding, high-visibility construction projects. Congratulations to Plante Moran Realpoint’s Andy Fountain for earning a place on this list.

Andy Fountain, principal at Plante Moran Realpoint, has been named a Crain’s Detroit Business 2026 Notable Leader in Architecture, Engineering, & Construction — a recognition that highlights professionals leading Southeast Michigan’s most complex and high-visibility projects. Each year, Crain’s honors individuals who manage, mentor, innovate, and give back, spotlighting their impact across their organizations, industries, and communities.

Andy leads Plante Moran Realpoint’s government practice, supervising staff and serving in a fiduciary capacity as an owner’s representative on complex, high-impact public sector and infrastructure programs across Michigan. His long-standing work with Macomb County includes major initiatives such as municipal campus revitalization efforts and, more recently, the Central Intake and Sheriff Medical Assessment project. His body of work also includes notable projects supporting Huntington Place and the Detroit Regional Convention Facility Authority’s capital program, including Second Avenue improvements, the Skybridge Connector Project, and the Joe Louis Arena parking deck rehabilitation.

Andy’s ability to help clients successfully deliver mission-critical projects — through disciplined execution, strategic insight, and a focus on community outcomes — reflects the impact the Crain’s Notables program is designed to recognize. Congratulations to Andy and all of this year’s Notable Leaders.
