Experience

As a principal at Plante Moran Realpoint (PMR), formerly Plante Moran Cresa, Allen works on a variety of project activities and pursuits as a capital program and project manager. He offers over 25 years of experience as an owner’s representative for industrial, retail, automotive dealership, and corporate office initiatives.

Allen is a highly motivated hands-on professional with an exceptional eye for detail. With a love and passion for contributing to the betterment of communities, Allen shows his undeniable leadership and professionalism in helping clients deliver top-quality projects that support their missions and business objectives.

Allen joins the firm from Ashley Capital in Canton, Mich., where he served as vice president. He was responsible for overseeing 3.5 million square feet in ground up industrial construction throughout Metro Detroit and assisting the real estate transition team with site selection, due diligence, and site plan approvals for acquisitions. He also has experience as an owner’s representative for corporate real estate initiatives at Penske Automotive Group, where he managed day-to-day project management operations on development projects within the central and southeast regions of the United States.

He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University, where he specialized in agricultural engineering and building construction management. He is also a graduate of the Emerging Leaders in Real Estate Program at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design. Allen regularly volunteers at Adopt-a-Family during the Christmas season and My C.O.P.S., a non-profit organization dedicated to providing resources to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of surviving families of law enforcement officers who were killed in the line of duty.
