As a principal at Plante Moran REIA, Jerry assists religious communities, healthcare organizations, and not-for-profits in identifying their strategic direction based on internal and external analyses. He helps define organizational vision, purpose, and values; identify goals and objectives; develop action plans; and assign responsibilities for implementation.
His experience includes assisting religious congregations with asset divestiture, collaboration and merger activities, retirement facility financial and operational analysis, consolidated financial reporting for international congregations, pastoral strategic planning, and leadership transition.

The projects culminated in reports on the current and projected finances, human resources, and activities of the congregation, and provided a series of recommendations to enhance resource stewardship.
Jerry conducted demographic analyses for religious congregations and long-term care and healthcare organizations. Engagements include analyses for religious congregation infirmaries and retirement housing, senior congregate housing, homes for the aged, nursing homes, PACE programs, and certificate of need support projects.
In the past, Jerry served as interim director of finance for a Catholic health system during the development of a continuing care retirement community. Activities he performed included market assessment, project design, pricing strategy, debt financing, accounting and reporting systems, and operating budgets.
