Experience

As a senior vice president at Plante Moran Realpoint (PMR), formerly Plante Moran Cresa, Joe is a valued member of our public sector practice, providing over 25 years of architectural and owner’s representative experience as a project manager and facilities director for higher education, institutional, municipal, commercial, and residential initiatives.

Joe is a collaborative professional with an exceptional eye for detail. With a passion for contributing to the betterment of communities and inspiring creativity and innovation, Joe shows his professionalism in guiding clients through their projects while staying true to their design and vision.

Joe joined PMR from Kettering University in Flint, Mich., where he served as the director of physical plant. He was responsible for overseeing maintenance services and campus improvement initiatives through planning, design, and construction. Joe’s most recent accomplishment was the envisioning and development of Kettering University’s Learning Commons, a state-of-the-art building dedicated to cultivating an environment of innovation, creativity, and collaboration.

He received his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from Lawrence Technological University, where he specialized in architecture. He is a member of the Association of Physical Plant Administrators (APPA), serves on the Board of Directors for the ACE Mentor Program of Southeast Michigan, serves as an advisory member for the Grand Blanc Community Schools Career & Technical Education program, and recently sat on the Grand Blanc Athletic Foundation board.
