As a consultant with Plante Moran Real Estate Investment Advisors (PMREIA), Sarah is part of the Chicago real estate consulting team where she supports clients through their asset management, acquisition, and disposition assignments. She works on a variety of real estate projects, primarily focusing on financial analysis.
Sarah’s ability to articulate complicated financial data and clearly explain her findings aids clients in the overall understanding of their real estate portfolios and transactions. Sarah’s interest in real estate is primarily driven by the urge to understand different markets and analyze how they build the communities and environments around her.
Sarah gained experience from two internships prior to joining PMREIA. As a development coordinator intern at Gorman & Company, a national affordable housing developer based out of Oregon, Wis., Sarah helped create narratives for applications to state housing agencies, reorganize property data systems, and research information for potential markets of expansion. Prior to Gorman & Company, Sarah interned at First Industrial Realty Trust, a real estate investment company based in Chicago, Ill., as a capital markets analyst intern. In this role, Sarah underwrote $33 million of disposition and acquisition transactions over the course of four months and performed administrative duties for the capital markets team.
Sarah has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where she majored in real estate and land economics.
