The challenge

ALPLA, an Austria-based global manufacturer of plastic packaging solutions, had 12,000 employees in 134 plants throughout 37 countries. It needed a comprehensive real estate solution.

The solution

Plante Moran Cresa (PMC) has worked with ALPLA on multiple national site selection projects, encompassing labor, tax and incentives, logistics, energy cost comparison, and real estate with customer requirements and business goals. PMC also assisted ALPLA with the successful procurement of incentives in Vermont and Missouri.

Projects ranged from 75,000 to 200,000 square feet with costs ranging from $15 million to $25 million.

The benefit

PMC's national site selection process uses a disciplined approach with national market knowledge to help leverage a competitive marketplace. Our process helps identify the locations that provide an optimal business climate, allowing organizations to grow and flourish.
