The challenge
The Sanctuary at Fraser Villa in Fraser, Michigan, offers a variety of senior living options and services, including assisted living, nursing care, memory care, and rehabilitation services.
Fraser Villa engaged Plante Moran Living Forward™ (PMLF) to help execute two initiatives:
- The development and construction of a new state-of-the-art Rehabilitation and Wellness Center
- Reconfiguration and renovation of the existing nursing home facility’s semi-private rooms into private rooms
Compounding the complexity of the projects was a compressed timeline.
The solution
At 36,000 square feet, the $6.3 million construction and renovation required efficient management to be successfully completed on time.
Through PMLF’s efficient processes for project management, design and development over¬sight, and move management, the entire project was completed without any unnecessary delays within the intended budget.
The benefit
The new Rehabilitation and Wellness Center opened on schedule and the nursing home’s refurbished and reconfigured private rooms opened on time. Fraser Villa was able to market its vastly improved residential services seamlessly together with the opening of the new Rehabilitation and Wellness Center.
