The challenge
Located on the shores of Lake Erie, Providence Care Center has been a leading Catholic senior living provider for more than 80 years.
Plante Moran Living Forward™ (PMLF) worked with Providence Care Center to transform its memory care space with a 20,000-square-foot, $825,000 renovation. Because Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and building code requirements had changed since the building was first constructed, the new regulations had to be incorporated.
The solution
The renovation updated service areas, the dining room, and common areas of this facility, complete with a Starbucks™. PMLF worked collaboratively with all the stakeholders to ensure the renovations were properly estimated and within the budget parameters of the project.
