It is an honor to accompany religious communities in the important work of carrying their mission into the future and living meaningful community lives.
Anna Sklut
Vice President

As a vice president at Plante Moran Realpoint (PMR), Anna helps communities plan for the future of their mission and community life. She enjoys accompanying leadership teams as they envision the big picture. She also ensures teams can develop and implement actionable steps to guide their communities through the challenges they face today.

Anna brings over a decade of experience in educational administration, having served at St. Agnes Academy in Houston, Texas—a ministry of the Dominican Sisters of Houston—where she led faith formation and mission integration for a community of more than 900 students. A lay Dominican and former chairperson of the Dominican Family of Houston, Anna also served as their delegate to the National Dominican Associate Directors, giving her deep insight into the needs and dynamics of sponsored ministries.

At PMR, Anna leverages this unique background to support religious institutes in strengthening community life and advancing the sustainability of their ministries. Her approach is rooted in thoughtful planning, collaborative leadership, and a deep commitment to mission.

Anna believes that an organization’s mission should be realized and lived at all levels within the community. Her strengths lie in whole-system formation through experiences, ritual and prayer, and intentional reflection that empowers people wherever they are in relation to the charism. A former administrator and teacher, minister and formator, Anna has experience with strategic planning, leading evaluative and accreditation processes, and designing and facilitating formation programming for students and adults. These experiences helped Anna hone her ability to systematically assess current practices while building for the future.

Anna has a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University, where she majored in journalism, and a Master of Arts in Theology with a focus in catechetics from the University of Notre Dame.
