As a senior vice president on the senior living operations consulting team, Aubrey brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in health and human services to Plante Moran Living Forward (PMLF). She partners with clients to align mission, strategy, and operations, delivering sustainable and measurable results across the senior living continuum.
Aubrey’s entire professional career has been dedicated to serving senior adults. Known for her hands-on leadership and people-centered approach, she invests deeply in understanding each client’s needs through direct engagement, collaboration, and trusted relationships. Her extensive experience across senior living and affordable housing enables her to guide clients toward operational excellence while remaining grounded in mission and purpose.
Before joining PMLF, Aubrey served as a regional director of operations for a large multistate faith-based organization, where she provided strategic and operational oversight for a broad range of senior living and housing services. Her portfolio included skilled nursing, transitional care, assisted and independent living, memory care, adult day services, and HUD and Section 8 housing. She has successfully led organizations through startups, change of ownership transitions, occupancy growth initiatives, and operational turnarounds while maintaining strong financial performance and regulatory compliance.
Aubrey’s leadership is shaped by real-world experience, beginning her career as a certified nursing assistant while completing her bachelor’s degree. This foundational experience continues to inform her practical, mission-driven approach to care delivery and operational leadership. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota and is licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) and a Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD).
