As a vice president with Plante Moran Realpoint (PMR), Cody specializes in assisting clients with development feasibility and strategic site development planning. Cody works with clients to prepare sites for development by implementing strategic planning, conducting due diligence reviews, developing real estate acquisition strategies, and leveraging state and local grant funding for community investment.
His main clients include the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, Southwest Michigan First, and Detroit Pistons. Additionally, Cody has served as the owner’s representative and project lead for the Flint and Genesee Economic Alliance, overseeing the implementation of $259 million in state grant funds and the development of a 1,400-acre Advanced Manufacturing District.
Cody is known for building strong client relationships based on a foundation of organized and insightful communication. His primary objective is to present clients with proactive solutions based on his industry experience, so clients know they have a knowledgeable professional on their side.
Prior to joining PMR, Cody spent two years at Crown Enterprises, an affiliate company of Central Transport, as a real estate portfolio manager. He spent three years at Central Transport as a regional human resources manager, overseeing the West Coast, Midwest, and Southwest regions.
Cody received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in small business administration and management from Adrian College.
