As a consultant with Plante Moran Realpoint (PMR), formerly Plante Moran Cresa, Owen works on various projects across the firm’s real estate investment service groups, aiding with development consulting, acquisitions support services, financial and incentive feasibility analyses, and investment strategy.
Owen is a creative problem solver who is always thinking of outside-of-the-box approaches that best suit clients’ individual needs. Clients appreciate his personable demeanor, attention to detail, passion for the industry, and work ethic. His goal is to help clients achieve their real estate goals while ensuring that their best interests are the focal point of the project.
Owen brings experience from several internships to PMR, most recently with PMR’s Chicago Riverside team, where he worked as a project analyst intern. In this role, Owen performed financial modeling for clients’ senior housing dispositions and assets under advisement. Prior to Realpoint, Owen was a real estate broker intern for Marcus & Millichap, a commercial real estate investment brokerage firm in Southfield, Mich. Through these internships, Owen gained experience in asset management, real estate development, and property underwriting.
Owen has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Grand Valley State University’s Seidman College of Business, where he double majored in finance and business economics. While at Grand Valley, Owen was a portfolio manager for the Seidman Investment Portfolio Organization.
