He brings the skills and experience to drive successful project and program results across an enterprise of facilities and stakeholders.
With a passion for contributing to built environments, Scott takes the time to understand clients’ needs, tailoring solutions that are appropriate to the project size, details, and client expectations to make their project ideas a reality.
Scott has held positions of development manager, construction and capital projects manager, and developer. In these roles, he has recruited and led teams of architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors through all phases of project development and execution of operational-level and large-scale renovations and greenfield capital projects. He has served as the company representative and primary contact for state and local municipal engagements in project planning, zoning, land use, bid solicitation, contract management, vendor relationships, and close-out documentation. Scott has experience supporting field efforts by meeting on site with vendors and subcontractors to confirm project outcomes, safety standards, regulatory requirements, and risk management goals. As an owner’s representative, he advised owners of opportunities and risks associated with development and capital projects that could impact operations, development costs, schedules, partner relationships, or regulatory compliance.
Scott received his undergraduate degree in business from Western Michigan University and has taken multiple corporate safety and OSHA training classes.
