As a senior vice president on the senior living operations consulting team, Tia brings more than 20 years of operational leadership to Plante Moran Living Forward (PMLF). She assists operators by providing strategic solutions to financial and operational challenges.
Tia’s entire professional career has been dedicated to serving the senior population. A true advocate for her clients, Tia takes the time to understand each client’s needs through direct engagements and close relationships. It is imperative to Tia that clients understand she has walked in their shoes. Her extensive healthcare operations experience, from both the owner and operator roles, aids clients in improving their financial outcomes to ensure a financially sustainable future.
Tia joined PMLF from a faith-based senior care provider that operates across the Midwest, where she served as an operations vice president. During her time there, she integrated interdisciplinary team systems and processes for 17 healthcare campuses across four states. She accumulated revenues of over $300 million and served over 9,000 residents annually while adhering to and maintaining each client’s mission and core values. Prior to that, Tia served as a vice president of operations for a Wisconsin-based skilled nursing and assisted living provider. She was responsible for the overall direction and business results of 36 communities in Wisconsin and Michigan, leading these communities to deliver quality care for residents while ensuring financial growth and strong clinical outcomes.
Tia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in healthcare administration from the University of Wisconsin—Eau Claire. She is a licensed nursing home administrator in four states and a licensed assisted living director in Minnesota.
