When the The Epitec Group's headquarters lease was about to expire, the company wanted to review its options.

The challenge

For over three decades, The Epitec Group has been attracting the best and brightest technological talent in the world to fill the IT staffing needs of the nation’s greatest companies. Epitec’s lease on its headquarters in Southfield, Michigan, was about to expire, and the company wanted to review its options.

The solution

The company contracted Plante Moran Cresa (PMC) to assist in its decision-making process, to offer information that will help Epitec choose between acquiring new space or retaining its existing space with the most advantageous terms possible. PMC provided strategic real estate planning, market analysis, financial modeling, and lease transaction management services.

The benefit

After supplying Epitec with a range of options, Epitec chose the most cost-effective choice. PMC negotiated a new lease on the existing headquarters property that included the desired flexibility for additional space as needed for future growth at substantial savings over an eight-year period.
