Wade Trim, a leading Detroit-based engineering firm, requested a comprehensive valuation of an owned asset in southeast Michigan.

The challenge

Wade Trim, a Detroit-based environmental engineering firm with 17 offices across the United States, enlisted Plante Moran Cresa (PMC) to assist in the sale and disposition of a 40,000-square-foot facility in southeast Michigan.

The solution

After determining a market-based lease for the facility, PMC marketed the facility as a 15-year net lease to unlock the asset’s value.

PMC provided Wade Trim with the resources and knowledge to implement a broad-based marketing program. Subsequently, the team identified, vetted, and ultimately selected a private capital buyer. After a successful due diligence period, the sale was closed.

The benefit

With the help of PMC’s expertise, Wade Trim was able to effectively and efficiently carry out its real estate transaction through proper implementation of strategic planning, due diligence considerations, and sale-leaseback solutions.
