CCRC addresses aging facilities while maintaining exceptional continuum of care
The challenge
To maintain the exceptional continuum of care while keeping with the mission and vision of the organization, Graceworks Lutheran Services — a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) situated on a 100-acre campus in Dayton, Ohio — engaged Plante Moran Living Forward™ (PMLF) to address its aging Bethany Village facilities and the feasibility of new construction. The solution
PMLF worked with Graceworks as the owner’s trusted advisor from concept through completion during renovation of nearly every campus facility and 238,000 square feet of new construction.
PMLF’s responsibilities included program management, RFQ/RFP development, negotiation for professional services, project budgeting, schedule preparation and evaluation, design advocacy and construction oversight, and construction payment application review.
The benefit
With PMLF’s help, Graceworks has completed a state-of-the-art expansion project on time and on budget.
Through this four-year campus repositioning program, Graceworks’ management team was able to maintain its focus on the organization’s mission while demonstrating responsible stewardship of resources.
