Plante Moran Living Forward hires six new staff

It is with great pleasure that senior living development advisory firm Plante Moran Living Forward (PMLF), affiliate of public accounting and business advisory firm Plante Moran, welcomes four new staff to the firm. Please join us in welcoming Jon DeHondt, Larry Kearney, Amy Michalek, David Pagnucco, Steve Przybilla, and Deanna Tyler.

About Jon DeHondt

Jon DeHondt joins the firm as a vice president out of the Southfield, Mich., office. As a program manager and owner’s representative, Jon will help clients plan and manage their large construction, renovation, and expansion programs to ensure budget and schedule goals are met. Prior to PMLF, Jon was a project manager specializing in the healthcare sector at Robins & Morton, a privately held construction firm in the southeast United States.

Jon has a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University, where he majored in construction management.

About Larry Kearney, CPA

Larry Kearney joins PMLF as a senior vice president out of the Southfield, Mich., office. In his role, Larry will support the senior living sector with financial modeling and analysis for clients looking to develop new projects through asset repositioning or expansions. Prior to PMLF, Larry was a senior manager specializing in senior living and continuing care organization at Plante Moran.

Larry has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Michigan State University. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Michigan Association of CPAs (MICPA).

About Amy Michalek, PMP

Amy Michalek joins PMLF as a senior consultant out of the Southfield, Mich., office. Amy will assist clients at every stage of the development process, from strategic planning, market studies, and financial feasibility modeling all the way through construction program management.

Amy has a Bachelor of Science in architecture from Lawrence Technical University. She is currently working on her MBA at Wayne State University. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and member of the Project Management Institute (PMI).

About David Pagnucco

David Pagnucco joins the firm as a senior consultant out of the Chicago, Ill., office. David will assist clients with financial modeling and project data analysis for new development and expansion projects. Prior to PMLF, David worked on the asset management team at Senior Lifestyle, a family-owned senior living development corporation in Chicago, Ill.

David has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan.

About Steve Przybilla

Steve Przybilla joins the firm as a principal, working remotely out of Minnesota. He will assist senior living clients with asset repositioning projects as well strategic planning and operational consulting engagements. Prior to PMLF, Steve was a chief operating officer at Benedictine Health Systems, a nonprofit senior care organization headquartered in Minneapolis, MN.

Steve graduated from Moorhead State University with his bachelor’s degree in education. Steve is National Association of Long-Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB) accredited, Health Services Executive (HSE) accredited, and holds licenses in nursing home administration and 2nd class engineering.

About Deanna Tyler

As a consultant with PMLF, Deanna Tyler will assist with market research and competitive analyses that help senior living providers and developers better understand the market conditions affecting their strategic decision-making, while also tracking the trends in the senior living industry. She will also be responsible for working with the team’s program managers to develop monthly budget, scope, and schedule reports for clients’ multimillion dollar capital programs. Prior to PMLF, Deanna was an administrative assistant at PMLF’s parent organization, Plante Moran Realpoint (PMR), formerly Plante Moran Cresa.

Deanna has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in public communications and cultural studies, where she graduated summa cum laude.
