Experience

As a vice president at Plante Moran Cresa, Marc brings to the team more than 20 years of project management experience from his involvement in a range of multi-million-dollar higher education, K-12 education, restaurant, retail, senior living, and infrastructure projects.

Marc’s leadership abilities complement his drive to foresee and overcome project challenges from conception through closeout. By building genuine relationships with owners, contractors, and architects/engineers, Marc brings development teams together to prevent schedule and budget setbacks during planning and construction.

Marc was one of the lead project managers on the $863 million Little Caesars Arena project, the capstone of The District Detroit development revitalizing 50 blocks of downtown Detroit into a walkable urban destination. He’s currently working on the second phase of a large, corporate headquarter renovation project for Delta Dental of Michigan.

Prior to joining Plante Moran Cresa, Marc worked as a construction project manager at several construction companies, including Wolverine Building Group, Triangle Associates, The Christman Company, and Granger Construction. His leadership distinguished his roles during a variety of projects varying in size from less than $1 million to nearly $90 million. Marc’s early career displayed his growing proficiencies through excellent relationship development and thoughtful involvement with members on his development teams.

Marc earned his master’s degree in construction management and a bachelor’s degree in construction management and interior design from Eastern Michigan University. He is a member of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) and has a MIOSHA Safety Certification.
