As president and CEO of Plante Moran Realpoint (PMR), formerly Plante Moran Cresa, Bill commands a comprehensive understanding of real estate and development enhanced by a strategic ability to structure outcomes to achieve his clients’ overall business objectives. In this capacity, he serves as a trusted advisor to senior executives, board members, and their counselors.

His range of real estate expertise includes real estate development, build-to-suits, financial underwriting and analysis, real estate due diligence, development feasibility, entitlements, municipal incentives, public and private sources of capital, and real estate transaction management across a variety of asset classes.

Since Bill assumed leadership of Plante Moran Realpoint in 2006, the firm has grown in size, sophistication, and standing across the real estate marketplace. Today, Plante Moran Realpoint serves as a full-service real estate firm that manages more than $2 billion in real estate projects annually for some of the most prestigious organizations across the nation in the corporate, mixed-use, healthcare, senior living, educational, and governmental sectors. Engagements under Bill’s responsibility have resulted in real estate capital expenditures and transaction value exceeding $3 billion.

Plante Moran Realpoint’s growth has born the establishment of Plante Moran Realpoint Investment Advisors (PMRIA), formerly Plante Moran REIA and Plante Moran Living Forward. PMRIA is a real estate asset management firm serving high-net-worth and institutional investors that has grown to more than $900 million assets under management since its inception in 2013. Plante Moran Living Forward is a fully integrated real estate development consulting firm serving the senior living development marketplace.

Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Michigan State University. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a licensed real estate broker in the state of Michigan. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Cresa, a $300 million international real estate consulting firm; Plante Moran Realpoint; PMRIA; and Plante Moran Living Forward.
