Experience

Kevin is the leader of Plante Moran Realpoint's (PMR), formerly Plante Moran Cresa's, corporate sector project management team, responsible for guiding the practice for future growth and collaboration across the firm. An experienced and driven leader, he is known as a strong relationship builder, both internally and externally, producing the most collaborative and productive working partnerships. Through this process, he continuously improves the implementation of the firm’s services across teams, allowing for the best client experience.

Prior to joining Plante Moran Realpoint, Kevin previously worked for a large global real estate firm as the managing director, having full responsibility for all project management efforts and profitability in Detroit, Columbus, and Cleveland. Under his leadership, the offices generated consistent market growth for both profitability and staff development while improving the overall project delivery for the client. Specifically, Kevin targeted owner’s representation services for larger tenant improvement, ground-up build-to-suit projects, and retail program management.

Notable projects and programs that Kevin has managed throughout his career include the national corporate dealership image roll-out programs for Volkswagen, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Maserati Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM; the construction of a new indoor sports facility and auditorium for Northwood University in Midland, Michigan; the expansion and construction of a new corporate office for a large global technology company in Ann Arbor, Michigan; and the new ground up construction of a manufacturing facility for Eagle Claw Fishing and Tackle in Cheyenne, Wyoming. In addition to construction projects, Kevin has also managed corporate relocation and business transition projects, overseeing the change management and relocation of the content and equipment for 100 to over 3,000 employees, for Ally Bank, Consumers Energy, Fraza, and large automotive brands headquartered locally in Michigan. He also provides relocation management and logistics for multiple school bond projects in SE Michigan.

Kevin cultivated his expertise in construction project management over a career spanning 35 years in the industry. He is an IASSC Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and LEED Accredited Professional (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design; LEED AP), with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in management, from Davenport University as well as an associate degree in architectural construction from Henry Ford College. His skillset is in business development, project planning, administration and execution, as well as program development and execution for national retail roll-out efforts.
