Experience
Monica is a senior project cost accountant at Plante Moran Realpoint (PMR), bringing over 10 years of accounting experience to the team. In her role, Monica assists clients with project financial accounting, handling cash flows, budget tracking, and financial reporting for complex capital projects.
Before joining PMR, Monica was a senior project accountant at Bridging North America, the private-sector partner responsible for the Gordie Howe International Bridge. In this role, she managed invoicing and accounting systems for the entire I-75 bridge segment. This experience allowed her to develop a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage complex financial systems, which she now applies to her work at PMR.
Prior to that, Monica served as the assistant controller for Rickman Enterprise Group, an industrial and environmental facilities services group in Detroit, Mich. She managed daily accounting operations, developed complex financial models, and prepared annual accounting reports.
Monica holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Davenport University and a Master of Applied Science from the University of Phoenix. She is an active member of five bowling leagues.
