Based in Germany, Eberspächer is a leading international systems supplier for exhaust technology and vehicle heating systems. With 60 locations in 26 countries, the company employs 6,000 people on four continents. When Eberspächer North America (ENA) was awarded a large new contract, it required additional space that met rigid specifications in a short amount of time.

The solution

Because ENA had recently won a new contract, timing was a key component of the site selection project. Plante Moran Cresa (PMC) was engaged to assist in identifying an appropriate site and negotiating a real estate transaction that maximized all possible municipal incentives.

The benefit

PMC assisted in successfully negotiating a lease on 50,000 square feet of space in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, that met ENA's space and timing requirements.
