As a professional engineer with more than 20 years of experience, Mark has experience working on projects for hospitals, skilled nursing homes, dementia units, senior living, and other healthcare facilities. His expertise includes planning, estimating, budgeting, and bidding out vendor services, including services for architecture and construction.
Mark has worked on master plan projects for numerous large, high-profile healthcare clients. Additionally, he has conducted feasibility studies to help modernize healthcare facilities.
Formerly, Mark worked with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) where he handled onsite management of multimillion-dollar construction projects for their largest operational facilities. In that role, he managed a team of engineers and technicians, successfully completing numerous large renovations on time, within budget, and without disruption to operations.
He also completed a project management assignment for a $150 million K-12 public school project involving the renovation or new construction of 30 school buildings.
Mark’s experience managing large-scale design and construction projects is invaluable to clients. Coupling his common sense approach with Plante Moran Cresa’s project management process, Mark provides clients with tremendous technical background and attention to detail.
Mark received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Michigan State University in 1984 and became a professional engineer in civil engineering in 1992.
