DETROIT, October 2, 2023 – Tony Sorgi, vice president of Plante Moran Realpoint, formerly Plante Moran Cresa, has been selected as a member of the Detroit Regional Chamber's Leadership Detroit program, a nine-month transformational leadership program designed to create awareness of key issues that affect the Detroit region and challenge emerging and existing community leaders to bring about positive change in the community through informed leadership.

Serving the business community for more than 100 years, the Detroit Regional Chamber is one of the oldest, largest, and most respected chambers of commerce in the country. As the voice for business in the 11-county Southeast Michigan region, the Chamber's mission is carried out by creating a business-friendly climate and providing value for members. The Chamber leads the most comprehensive education and talent strategy in the state.

As part of Leadership Detroit 44, Sorgi will join nearly 75 executives across Southeast Michigan, representing a cross-section of the community, including business, organized labor, government, education, media, civic groups, health services, and community organizations.

“I feel honored to have been accepted into the 44th class for Leadership Detroit. It symbolizes the start of a shared journey, a chance to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact together with my peers. This helps open more doors to a network of support, collaboration, and the chance to continue to create positive change within the Detroit community,” said Sorgi.

As a strategic real estate consultant for corporate businesses, Sorgi primarily focuses on strategic planning, national and regional site selection, financial benchmarking, due diligence, and lease contract negotiations. Whether it’s for a small office or a large industrial organization, Tony advises company executives and real estate decision-makers in developing an effective approach to address their real estate needs.
