Experience

Manuel, a vice president with Plante Moran Cresa (PMC), brings to the team nearly 10 years of owner’s representation, master planning, and program management experience. Serving clients across the public and private sectors, he is inspired by the opportunity his role plays in transforming how millions of people live, work, and learn through place making.

Manuel is known for his holistic and forward-looking approach to sophisticated projects that depend on effective multidisciplinary engagement. He applies his well-rounded consulting expertise, and his experience representing the interests of complex organizations, to facilitate decision-making between C-suite executives and diverse teams with varying levels of subject matter expertise.

Prior to joining PMC, Manuel was a master planner at Ghafari Associates, LLC, providing planning and design, real estate strategy, and owner’s representation services for Ford Motor Company’s new corporate campus in Dearborn, Mich. He also worked with multinational teams in the programming and architectural design efforts at Ford office, manufacturing, R&D, and other facilities in the Asia Pacific, North America, and South America regions. His previous experience, as a senior consultant at Jacobsen Daniels Associates, also included planning and program management services for large capital improvement programs at numerous major commercial service airports across the United States.

Manuel has a Bachelor of Science in architecture from the University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture. Currently, he is attending the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan for his MBA, where he is a member of the Michigan Real Estate Club (MREC) and served on the board of the 2020 Michigan Ross OMBA Council. Manuel is fluent in Spanish.
