As a vice president with Plante Moran Living Forward (PMLF), John can assist clients at every stage of the development process, from strategic planning to market studies and financial feasibility modeling all the way through construction project management. He brings to each client engagement experience in project management and owner’s representation as well as experience on the provider side of the senior living business.
John’s involvement on both sides of the table allows him to guide clients at their own pace through their project’s stages. His emphasis on listening empathetically ensures that client needs are heard and understood, and his ability to communicate clearly means his solutions are delivered in a digestible and tangible way. Clients appreciate this approach because they know John always keeps their needs at the forefront throughout the project.
Before joining PMLF, John was a project development manager at Covenant Living Communities & Services, one of the nation's largest not-for-profit senior living providers, where he managed many large construction development initiatives.
John has a Bachelor of Arts in business and economics from Wheaton College. He was also part of the 2020–2021 LeadingAge Illinois Leadership Academy, a program for developing leaders in the senior living industry.
