Experience

Manuel, a vice president with Plante Moran Cresa (PMC), brings to the team 10 years of combined owner’s representation, master planning, and program management experience. Serving clients across public and private sectors, he is inspired by the opportunities to transform how communities thrive through placemaking. He embraces a forward-looking approach on projects by leveraging data and stakeholder engagement to facilitate informed decision-making for complex organizations.

Prior to joining PMC, Manuel was a master planner at Ghafari Associates, LLC, providing corporate real estate strategy, planning and design, and owner’s representation services for Ford Motor Company’s new corporate campus in Dearborn, Mich. He also engaged with multinational teams in programming and architectural design efforts at various Ford research and development, manufacturing and office, facilities in the Asia Pacific, North America, and South America regions. His previous experience, as a senior consultant at Jacobsen Daniels Associates, also included planning and program management services for large capital improvement programs at numerous major commercial service airports across the United States.

Manuel has a Bachelor of Science in architecture from the University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture as well as an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business where he was a member of the Michigan Real Estate Club (MREC) and served on the board of the 2020 Michigan Ross OMBA Council. Manuel is also fluent in Spanish.
